Jarred Flower

Bagged Flower

Smalls and Pre Ground

Small buds, also known as budlets, are usually separated from the larger buds of a plant by cultivators when they harvest their cannabis.  These smaller buds have the same quality, flavor and near the potency of their larger, more mature siblings with a lower price point.

Preground herb is the lowest-cost cannabis available in dispensaries, and a godsend for those who have been riding the waves of covid and inflation these past years.

Prerolls

Joints

Pre-rolled Joints, also known as prerolls, are the quickest way for an end-user to start smoking.  Multiple paper types, shapes, sizes and filters are currently available. 

Prerolls require a specific grind and packing of cannabis to function well.  Poor quality prerolls are subject to inconsistent hits and uneven burning.  The greatest sin is over-ground herb or loose packing leading to a preroll dumping out its contents once lit.   At OEC, we take the design and assembly of prerolls quite seriously, as the aforementioned issues can be detrimental to a brand's reputation.

Infused Joints

An infused PreRoll is a preroll that contains both cannabis and concentrate, whether it be Bubble, Rosin, Kief, BHO or other consistencies.  These concentrates can be blended with the herb or coated onto the paper.

Adding concentrates to a preroll ups the potency and flavor. Since the heat coming from the cherry of a joint can actually vaporize the contents it passes along the way, dab-like effects can be felt from infused prerolls.

HEMP BLUNTS & CIGARS

Vape Cart Filling

Vape cartridges are a cornerstone of the cannabis market. Mastery of this type of service requires a strong understanding of multiple scientific principles.

Hash Rosin

Hash Rossin is produced by applying the correct amount of heat and pressure to squeeze oil from cannabis flower and water hash. The process a solid understanding of staging, pressure and heat control.

CONSUMABLES

GUMMIES

Gummies have long prospered as the most prevalent cannabis edible in the market.  The ingredients are simple, flavor and color choices are endless, and molds can be used to create any shape!  Their fruity flavorings can tame the hashy flavors within, while the ability to withold added flavors can let exotic natural terpenes take center stage.

Formulating, producing and curing non-medicated gummies is already a complicated practice which OEC is well equipped for. 

Tinctures

Tinctures are a potent solution of cannabis concentrate, and the only consumable that the BCC allows to contain more than 100mg of THC.  These strong solutions provide powerful treatment of many ailments while adding no sugars or fats to the mix.  

Tincture formulation requires exacting recipes and processes that our Consumables subcommittee is currently experimenting with.  If your brand has an established tinctures that they are in search of a new manufacturer for, we will be happy to test and adapt your formula to our services.

Syrups

A very popular product in the past few years have been THC Syrups.  These potent concoctions fall under the Tincture category, allowing them to contain well over 100mg of THC.  Syrups can be added to drinks or dosed directly, and are a popular product in many demographics.

Syrup formulation requires an emulsification of concentrates with sweeteners and flavorings.  If not done correctly, the ingredients will separate over time, resulting in a sub par product.  At OEC, we use a top-of-the-line ultrasonic nano-emulsifier to create quality syrups.

CAPSULES

Capsules, like tinctures, are a calorie and carbohydrate free option of ingesting cannabis.  They appeal to consumers who are used to more conventional healthcare treatments, something that evades many other consumable products.
