The OEC is able to maximize the support offered to Equity-owned businesses by offering a rent-free Shared Manufacturing Kitchen space. This site offers white-label services for brands needing concentrates, infusions, packaging, and distribution for their business.
The on-site management team ensures the shared kitchen operates in compliance with all local and state ordinances. As such, the team has designed a robust training program that focuses on all aspects of operating a highly regulated and complex cannabis business. In addition, the management team will be able to manage bulk orders among all the brands, thereby reducing the per unit cost for both cannabis and non-cannabis materials.
Within an 18-month timeline, the management team will work with each Social Equity operator to ensure that they have the tools required to manage the technical aspects of their individual business. Before spending or raising any funds, the management team will work with each operator to thoroughly discuss a Proof of Concept including all start-up costs, scalability, manufacturing protocol, and a sales plan.
While all Social Equity operators will be trained and responsible for maintenance and compliance, each operator will also have full operational support and access to other assets such as a preferred vendor list and long-standing relationships with other cannabis business owners. The OEC model ensures each business can be successful independently, while supporting each other through an 18-month incubation period.
